‘Mesotherapy’ and ‘Pluryal Shine’ in spot treatment

featured

The ‘spot problem’, in other words ‘hyperpigmentation’, which can be seen especially in people with dark skin, occurs as a result of the increase in the amount of melanin pigment, which gives color to our skin, sometimes due to the sun, sometimes due to drugs or genetic factors.

In dermatology, we apply very important and effective laser treatments such as chemical peeling, medical treatments, PRP and especially IPL (Intense Pulse Light) and Q-Switched Nd-Yag Laser, Golden Needle and Fractional Laser. In particular, I will discuss laser treatments with a holistic view in a separate article, but in this article, I would like to tell you how we apply ‘mesotherapy’, which is highly preferred in spot treatment, and what is Pluryal Shine, which stands out as one of the most innovative products in this field.

Substances that will lighten the skin’s dark color are injected

First of all, we can say that spot mesotherapy means that the products are injected into the skin by targeting the colored areas on the skin surface. Especially if you have blemishes formed years ago, we ensure that the repair process of the skin begins. During this process, predetermined substances are injected into the skin to lighten the dark color on the skin. The injection process is delivered approximately 4 mm to 6 mm below the skin. Before the procedure, anesthetic cream is applied to the skin so that the patient feels minimal pain. Substances injected under the skin during the procedure begin to show their effect in a short time.

After the injection process is completed, slight redness and bruising may occur in the treated area. The fact that spot treatment with mesotherapy is not a procedure that requires clinical rest constitutes the advantageous aspect of the treatment.

Session interval and duration vary according to the degree of the stain.

Since the depth and appearance of the spots on the skin vary from person to person, the interval and number of sessions also differ accordingly. Whether the patient has skin blemishes and other problems is also a factor that determines the number of sessions. Generally, we can state that a successful result can be achieved with 4-6 sessions. However, sometimes it is possible to get rid of skin spots completely with only 1-3 sessions. Therefore, before starting the procedure, we carefully analyze the skin structure of our patients and decide on the session intervals and the total number of sessions. We usually set the time between sessions as 2 weeks.

Pluryal Shine is the only sterile serum with 5 magic ingredients

Vitamin C, tranexamic acid, glutathione, tissue builder, antioxidant, retinoic acid, arbutin and multi-vitamin cocktail are the most frequently applied active ingredients in spot mesotherapy, both in our country and around the world. Although these active ingredients are extremely effective in removing blemishes and obtaining a clear skin, the development of dermatology technology has recently brought us together with a professional treatment product, Pluryal Shine.

I stated that the spots are caused by excessive melanin synthesis. The more active substances that inhibit or suppress the tyrosinase enzyme in the skin, the greater the effectiveness in the treatment of blemishes. Pluryal Shine, an innovative sterile serum with high concentration, stands out as the only sterile serum with 5 important components serving this purpose. There is no need for social isolation in Pluryal Shine, a product approved by the European Pharmacopoeia, registered by the Ministry of Health, and has a high safety profile, and being able to return to social life after the application provides an important advantage. In accordance with the European Union regulations, we can list the 5 important components I mentioned in this serum that does not contain hydroquinone:

Ethyl Ascorbic Acid: Ethical ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) supports antioxidant, light-protective, anti-aging and anti-pigment effects. It also helps to correct the appearance of scars, reduce pigmentation and delay the appearance of aging.

Phytic Acid: Phytic acid helps inhibit tyrosinase. It is also a depigmentation agent that acts as an antioxidant.

Pyruvic Acid: Pyruvic acid has been used for years to help lighten moderately photo-damaged skin.

Kojic Acid: Kojic acid was researched in a 1996 study and shown to help reduce pigment.

Mulberry Leaves Extracts (Morus Alba): It has been observed in studies that the extract and active ingredients of the mulberry fruit help reduce pigmentation.

We can achieve more effective results by combining it with laser treatments.

Since it is essential to avoid the sun in the treatment of blemishes, the winter season should be preferred for treatment. Although most of the patients in mesotherapies want the spots to disappear immediately after the procedure, it is useful to know that the fight against spots is a process that takes a certain amount of time and requires some patience. The results of the treatment may vary according to factors such as the person’s skin tone, lifestyle, drugs used or the frequency of treatment. However, more often than not, different skin problems may occur along with the spots on the skin. In this case, combined treatments with different methods come into play, along with mesotherapy.

Spot mesotherapy can be combined with chemical peeling and PRP, as well as main laser treatments such as IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and Q-Switched Nd-Yag Laser, Golden Needle and Fractional Laser, to achieve more effective results. I will describe these important laser treatments in the next article.
